Recalling what I learnt in medical college, is that, even when it is regular, the length of the menstrual cycle varies for different women and girls. For some, the cycle is as short as 21 or [even fewer] days. For others, it is as long as 35 days. The average cycle is 28 days like the days of the month of February save for leap year which is 29 days in cycle of four years.
At the 14th-16 day of the cycle, the dominant follicle ruptures, and the ovum is extruded into the abdominal cavity. This is the process of ovulation an equivalent of “on heat” on other mammals.
So, is my view, I opines that the Valentine Day was set on 14th February each and every year to coincides with critical day of menstrual cycle since is the time females are naturally attracted and searching for males driven by oestrogen hormone.
Significant of Valentine Day or Love commemoration in that matter, can be best explained by racism tribulations Britain’s Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex in the name of love.
