As I was rearranging my history notes, I came across the origin of Olympic Games. The Greeks admired athletics skill so much that religious festivals were accompanied by athletics meetings in honor of the gods.
There were many of these Games, but the greatest were the Olympic Games, held every four years at Olympia in honor of Zeus the supreme god. After prayers and sacrifices, the Games opened with horse and chariot races watched by thousands of spectators on the hill of Chronos.
With coming of age.Its high time to baptize Olympic Games.
