To study heliotropism-a growth response in a plant which results to a gradual turning of leaves and of the whole plant towards a light source; I sowed a single maize crop on eighth acre plot of land and as it germinated and grow, it oriented it leaves across north-south. Thus, it was able to trap a higher amount of light for photosynthesis without shadow temper.
