Now, in my own intuition; the fast president of Kenya, Mzee Jomo Kenyatta had this mind when dropped his both tribal and Christian names; Kamau wa Ngengi and Johnstone in order to conform with Spirit of Christmas of unifying the humanity race.
So, this is tantamount of domesticating Christmas into a young Nation of Kenya by shedding tribal tag even to young son borne after his transformation Uhuru Kenyatta which is not Kikuyu’s tribal name.
In a nutshell, Christ and John are new names devoid of tribal background, to signify a new world order that Mzee Jomo Kenyatta borrowed suite when he his dropped tribal names in the spirit of preaching the gospel of Christ practically.
