UhuRuto Blossom Extinguish, late Ole Ntimama’s Test-tube

UhuRuto duo established the Jubilee Alliance in January 2013 majorly; The National Alliance [TNA], United Republican Party [URP], National Rainball Coalition [NARC], to support Kenyatta’s presidential campaign. After winning 2013 general election. The Jubilee Alliance governed through a party coalition.

However, the stability of this system was threaten by tribalism and disagreements among participating parties evidenced in my view, when the late William Ole Ntimama tried in vein to book an appointment to State House to led section of Maa community delegation from Narok county in 2014.

I perceived it was blocked by URP affiliated state official may be planted at State House by DP Ruto during pre-election pact drafting.

In hindsight,I presume that why President Uhuru planned a kind of picnic lunch with Masaai at Musa Nteri Kapanka homestead on way back from Arusha, Tanzania after a state visit show solidarity to them in the same year. I opine, also, that why President Uhuru Kenyatta mooted the party merger which was actualized on 7 September 2016, when all involved parties held their respective National Delegates Conference [NDC]. The new party was established from the principal members of the Jubilee Alliance’s previous coalition, as well as new political parties.

Unfortunately, after the Jubilee Party made significant gains in the 2017 General election, grabbing 140 of 290 parliamentary seats, 25 of 47 County women representatives, 25 of the 47 governors, and 24 of 47 senatorial seats, and first parliamentary was called at State House to apportion parliament’s departmental committees seats and agreed upon. Section of members sat down at night and engineered coups only to forcefully ejected in the floor of the house.

So, it seemed URP wing of coalition wanted to ring fence it Kalenjin Masaai Turkana Samburu [KAMATUSA],-ethnic regionalism coined and promoted during Moi regime,-since Narok seats were won on URP in 2013 general election; Governor Samuel Kuntai, Senator Stephen Kanyinke, and four MPs out of Six. That why an attempt by late Ole Ntimama to lead delegation to State House-TNA faction- was curtailed and frustrated although he eventually made in 2016 before his death.

Since then, I partake that why President Uhuru Kenyatta as the Jubilee Party leader has never summoned another parliamentary group meeting, and to me, the cradle of ‘dynamic duo’ blossom extinguish.
