Tanzania Catches Up Into Universal Culture

I opines, science and Christianity are universal cultures that dictates the social and economic evolution. Anybody who goes against them, do it in his or her own peril.

Let me give just two personalities who did contrary and faced death.

The late President Sadam Husein of Iraq, dared the world in gulf war, in anticipation to reign it, if he triumph only for him to be hanged after defeat. Well, Jesus warns in the biblical verse: Luke 9: 25; What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and yet lose or forfeit his very self?

The late President Pombe Magufuli of Tanzania, disregarded proven scientific preventive measures of Covid-19 even questioning it existence only to succumb and die of it.

The point am driving is about one Samia Suluhu Hassan, Tanzanian president. Her maiden speech at the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly [UNGA], on Thursday 23, September 2021, depicts a voice of poor third world echoing Christ’s ministry.

Let me quote her: “I would like to see trade increase, as Tanzania is a member of the East African Community and also the Southern African Development Community, which provides opportunities for US investors and traders in a market with a population of 450 million people, which is favorable for investment.”

President Samia also informed the business people that her country had finally signed the agreement for the African Continental Free Trade Area, through which Africa is relaxing trading conditions in a market of 1.3 billion people.

“Developing nations must be assisted in addressing the socioeconomic impact of Covid-19. We cannot afford to take refuge on the onset of Covid-19 as an excuse for not making progress in achieving Sustainable Development Goals,” she told the Assembly.

Now, from above excerpts in her speech. It’s obvious she tagged the so called Third World, block by block selflessly a virtue Jesus advocates of loving your neighbor as yourself.
