Protocol Breach: Realpolitik

When I scratch my gramma notes, realpolitik is an abstract noun-these refer to things that do not have physical existence. And when I check Oxford Advanced Learners’s Dictionary, defines realpolitik as a system of politics that is based on the actual situation and needs of a country or political party rather than on moral principles.

Public events protocols are moral principles, also the dates of political parties dates of events within realm of political parties acts are also moral principles. That why different parties are have different dates of holding National Delegates Conferences [NDC] as far are within electoral act deadline.

But political pundits can detect some conspiracies underhand schemes to achieve or cross influence within political divide. To start with, during 57th Jamhuri Day celebrations at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi. The master of ceremony defiented from moral of inviting Governor first, who then invite DP, and substantive Nairobi Governor Ann Kananu was in attendance, was it a ploy to bar her from inviting Raila the way Kirinyaga’s Governor Ann Waiguru did during Mashujaa Day who invited Raila before inviting DP? Thus forcing Uhuru to water it down by breaching protocol and invited Raila.

The case in point, is about the much publicized events, ODM’s electoral board presidential application and Jubilee’s NDC slated on 30th November, 2021, which both principals; Raila and President Uhuru Kenyatta seemed have breached party morals and continued to play realpolitik . Was it done behind their back with sinister political motive? Well, time will tell.
