Balance is a principle of art fashion concerned with arranging elements so no one of pattern overpowers, or seems heavier than, any other pattern.
In works of fashion art, three kinds of balance are possible. They are formal balance, informal balance, and radial balance.
In the above outfit, the shirt is of informal balance or asymmetrical where two unlike patterns seem to carry equal weight. The trouser is of formal balance, or symmetrical where the two halves are mirror images.
