The late Pope Francis-God bless his soul-voiced his sexual deviations stand premised in Luke 6 : 37 ; “Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” So, how will his successor navigates the same without offending this verse?
In Kenya. The Adolescent Reproduction Health and Development Policy Document, Plan of Action 2005-2015, recognizes and defined sexual deviations where homosexuality [gays] is among other 19 sexual deviations.
Sexual deviation is the expression of sexuality in a socially unacceptable manner. Examples of sexual deviations :-
-Tele-Scaltogia : Refers to sexual satisfaction when listening to the voice of an admired opposite sex, for instance, through talking face-to face, telephone or singing, reciting a poem. Who knows! maybe one dialing you on mobile phone is a Tele-Scaltogia.
-Frotteorism : Occurs when a man or woman derives sexual satisfaction from brushing or rubbing against an admired opposite sex. Here one should be careful on overloaded public transport.
-Transsexualism : This is deriving sexual gratification by dressing like the opposite sex.
-Masochism : This is deriving sexual gratification when pain is being inflicted on them.
-Fetishism : This occurs when men or women derive sexual pleasure by touching a non sex object from an admired opposite sex, like handkerchief, handbag and such.
-Homosexuality : Is where men or women engage in sexual activity with same sex partners [gays]. This is the most commonly known sexual deviation thus a default point of reference by Pope Francis and populace at large.
Management of sexual deviations are psychotherapy, counselling and psychological support and, integration in the society after successful management instead of condemnations. So, its my hope the Pope Francis successor will take note of his predecessor concerns who had science background.
