My observations of American and British styles, is that, those job applicants who blend the two and customize their own style, got short listed for interview and some eventually employed. Why?
On a British curriculum vitae [CV], it is usual to put your date of birth. But on an American resume you may choose whether or not to include your birth date, marital status and children. Well, my career guidance teacher advised me otherwise that-omitting this, erodes confidence or your integrity standing.
